Christmas preparations

21 December, 2011  - DBYC  (Kabwe)

The Youth from the Oratory are preparing  a short play for the Christmas Night celebration on Saturday.  The idea is to picture what is really happening in our communities at Christmas, how different people  see Christmas in a different way. It is interesting.

Consecration of the Bishop Clement Mulenga

17 December, 2011  – Kabwe

The preparations for the Great Day started in the beginning of November 2011.   Good number of the faithful from Kabwe Deanary (that time) put their hands together to prepare the event.  Indeed  they made a great effort to make sure that everything is  in place for the 17th of December, 2011.  Today we  can say ‘job well done’.  We thank God  for the First Bishop of Kabwe Diocese, Bishop Clement Mulenga SDB.

Recollection For Women

4 December, 2011  - St. Mary’s Church (Kabwe)

As we are moving into second week of Advent the women of St. Mary’s  had their recollection day. Such a day is a good way of beginning  to prepare a way in our lives for the Lord to come.  A good number of women turned up for the recollection conducted by Mr. Bwalya from Sacred Heart Parish.  All the participants left with an encouragement from The Parish Priest that ‘if you love as you want to be loved and if you forgive as you want to be forgiven, surely the Kingdom of God is in our midst”.

Community Project in Progress

25 November, 2011  - Don Bosco Makululu

Our Community Project in Makululu is slowly growing. Its really  encouraging to see the commitment of Makululu  Community both old and young. Our target before  some serious rains is to reach slab level then we continue fundraising for the slab. Hopefully we will find also some well wishers who will help us financially. We keep our fingers crossed.
