29 August, Don Bosco Youth Centre, Kabwe.

It was a different retreat all together for couple of reasons. One, there were few participants which was good for interaction. Two it was first retreat for Fr. Clement Mulenga SDB who just started his Youth Ministry at the Archdiocese of Lusaka. Mwabombeni Ba Father.

27 August, 2010 – Salesians of Don Bosco, Kabwe.

We had a distinguished visitor from Poland, Bishop Piotr Libera from Plock. He arrived in Zambia for a visit to Mpunde Mission that will celebrate 50 years of its foundation on 12 of September 2010. Fr. Adam Pergol who works in Mpunde comes from Plock Diocese.

Reconciliation Service for OVC

18 August 2010, Youth Centre

Brother Marcus, Sacred Heart Brother brought a group of Orphans and Vulnerable children fro Shitima House for the Reconciliation Service and games after. Those who did not come for confession received special blessing. It was moving experience to see young boys and girls trying to change their behaviour for the better.

Parish Feast 2010

15 August, St. Mary’s – Kabwe

It was trully family celebration. People worked hard in preparation for the feast. We had a solemn Mass and the First Profession of the Novices. After the Mass a meal for all and entertainment. Congratulations to all. You did it.

We have received a couple of volunteers from Belgium. They have come to run a workshop for Oratory Animators from St. Mary’s and Don Bosco Center. Just arrived and already in action.
